What we get asked about price.

How does the free trial work?
You get 30 days to use Hoofbook as if you were a paying customer — every feature, no limits. No credit card needed to start.
What happens at the end of the 30 days?
Nothing, unless you decide otherwise. With no payment on file, your trial simply ends. If you want to continue, you add a payment method and choose the monthly or annual plan.
What’s the difference between monthly and annual?
Monthly costs €24 per month, billed each month. Annual works out to €21.08 per month (billed €253 once a year) — almost two months free. Both plans give you access to every feature.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. The subscription has no lock-in. You cancel in one click from your account — no fees, no penalties. On the annual plan, if you cancel, your access stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Do the prices include VAT?
For France, yes: €24/month and €253/year include the 20% French VAT (base prices €20 and €211 excl. VAT). Outside France, you see the base price and your country's VAT is added at checkout — no surprise, the exact total appears before you pay.
What payment methods do you accept?
Card payments (Visa, Mastercard) through a secure processor. Hoofbook does not store any card details.
What if I want to switch plans later?
You can switch from monthly to annual — or the other way around — at any time from your account. The change takes effect at the next billing cycle.
How do I bring my existing client list into Hoofbook?
For now, data entry is manual — an assistant adds up to 25 horses at once when you set up a new stable, which speeds things up considerably. Direct import from an Excel or CSV file is on our roadmap.
